For some reason my Netflix is not working on my one Tivo box.  It recognizes Netflix on the Tivo "Now Playing List" along with my other Tivo to copy shows from, so my router is working well.  I also tested the internet, youtube works just fine on my Tivo.  The error message states "An unexpected error has occured, either the netflix service is inaccessible, or there was a network error.  Please try accessing again, if you have trouble, go to Tivo.com/support."  Netflix just charged me yesterday for the monthly rate, we still get DVDs by mail, Netflix works on my other Tivo just fine, and works on my PS3 as well.  Not that big of an issue, I wouldn't mind cancelling netflix along with cable TV, but just curious on what the issue may be.

I'd try deleting that Tivo from your device list on Netflix & see if readding fixes the issue.

It seemed to have fixed it only temporarily.  Tried deactivating it three times now, and when reactivating it I can see my instant queue but still won't play.  Given the soon increase of price, I find it ironic that all of a sudden this is the first time I have had issues with Netflix.

Netflix streams their video from "the cloud." If you believe the hype, "the cloud" is a magical mystical place where only wonderful things happen. But in truth, it is just a network of extra space on Amazon's servers where businesses can store, serve, but sometimes lose their data for cheap instead of putting in a reliable, nearby data center where they can keep an eye on it. Every time the cloud has a hiccup, businesses using it take a hit in service and credibility. Recent victims include Foursquare, Twitter, and most recently Netflix:

If you're a business considering sending your data to the cloud, be careful
