Cable Cards

I believe the FCC recently granted consumers the right to pick up cable cards from their company and do a self install.  Does anyone know if TWC follows that rule where I could go pick up an M-Card and tuning adaptor?

Sorry, I didn't see this thread until recently. The rule permitting self-installs of cable cards provides the operator 9 months from October 14, 2010 to implement the rule if they currently already offer self-install of set-top boxes or cable-modems, and 12 months if they don't.

So, Time Warner here has until July of next year to implement the rule. You can try to see if they've implemented it early, I suppose.
