For the last year or so, channel 4(NBC) was always the strongest, and I had issues pulling in 58 (CBS).

For the last couple of weeks though, 4 has been nearly unwatchable and 49 has been almost completely unwatchable. I'm just wondering if something changed? Does anyone know if they have been doing maintenance on their antennas?

I have noticed zero changes that you speak of. 4-1 remains one of the stongest signals I pick up from Milwaukee and 58-1 is still fairly weak.

I'm 35 miles away from WTMJ and I pick it up w/ 100% strength. With an indoor antenna.

I should have mentioned I live out in Waukesha, near downtown. What town are you in?

What kind of antenna are you using? Indoor? Outdoor?

QuimaxW

Outdoor antenna mounted in the rafters of my garage. The garage is on the NE side of the house and we're up on a hill, so other than some trees there is no blockage immediately in front of the antenna.

Try moving the antenna to a different spot. Because the pitch of the roof reflects RF channel 28 might be nulled out. Multipath could be an issue too. Even a slight tilt up or turn to the side a bit might help.
