I've been putting off buying it because of all the freeze-up/pause problems I've been reading about. I don't know how widespread the problem is, but Panasonic is supposedly working on a fix. If you own it, is it a problem with your player? Thanks.

I have one too (for only a couple months though) and have had no problems so far.

In my situation, I bought the DMP-BD60 because my BD35 worked great with BD, interface and superb DVD upconversion - and the BD35 model had this for a replacement. So far, the unit is working and plays well on my other HDTV setup in another room. If I have problems with freezing and lockup, I will ask Panasonic to exchange it or update the software, so far all is working. Note: Still have the BD35 in the main HT room, can't say enough good about it.

Additionally, I bought the BD60 model because I sold my BD10A to buy this model for its DTS-HD MA internal decoding, much improved DVD upconversion (over the BD10A) and my Denon AVR-2807 had HDMI inputs, but no internal AVR decoding.
The previous Panasonic BD players I owned were solid, well-built units that were great, but as more and more BD discs came out in DTS-HD MA, I wanted to hear what I was missing with my 7.1 (in ceiling/wall) setups...now I do.;)

Thanks guys. I wish I had bought the Pan. BD35 while it was still available.

The Sony BDP-S560 is another good choice, saw it available at the local Best Buy for $349, other discounts/retailers are also available.
The unit has built-in WiFi vs. the S360 which does not, very good playback and got recently received a good review on Blu-ray.com from an owner...check it out.:D

Quote from: Ralph Kramden;52980Thanks, but I'm not paying a cent over $200.

Okay...the lowest I had ever seen the BD35 was $229 on sale, so it was out of your range to begin with, right?

I got my BD35 for $150 new. :D

(Sears had a "woot.com" style sale during the holiday season; the BD35 went on sale for that price at midnight, and the sale ended as soon as they sold out, which was at roughly 12:05 a.m.)

Wait until November boys, I picked up my Sony for $150 last year.  Online through Sony.com.  There will be plenty of BD bargains to be had if you can wait.  And Amazon had some kick ass BD disc deals last year as well.
