Digital Signal on 36-1?

Any idea what's going on? 36's digital signal will be on channel 35....

I have seen 36 digital on from time to time but I thought it was coming from ch 8's stream. It was intermittant at best. Maybe it really is 36 digital. I'll go check their web site and find out.

I believe that is PBS.

It has been available for awhile with zero content. Basically, it was around before CBS and on during daytime when NBC is off. Therefore if PBS was the only provider during the day, I assumed it was another PBS station.

There is no digital signal on 36 just analogue. What you are seeing is the information transmitted along with channel 8.  This provides channel information for channels 10 and 36......
