Jimmy Kimmel supposedly went HD a month or so ago and the channel guide lists the show as being in HD but it hasnt been airing in HD when I tune in. The little shows that they showed before NBA finals games were in HD but not the normal 11:30 show. Does anyone why WISN is not airing the show in HD?

ABC broadcasts it at 11:05PM central time I believe... WISN shows it around 11:35PM.  I'm assuming they don't have the capability to time shift the HD feed they get from ABC.

Yeah, I believe they're using tape-based HD playback, so it would be impossible to record it at 11:05 and be able to play it back at 11:35.

One day, hopefully, they'll upgrade to computer-based HD playback.
