Hello,
I just set a season pass to record the simpsons on channel 24.  I am not sure what I am doing but I did not see an option for recording quality.  I wanted to record it in basic quality so as to not take up too much space, and yes it was on channel 24 not 524.  Can I change it?

Yes. If you are just setting up the season pass, while still on the show description page, the one where you get "record this episode," "get a season pass," etc., select "Options" to the right of "Get a Season Pass." You will get a screen full of options, one of which is "Recording Quality."

If you have already created the season pass, and you want to change it, hit the TiVo button to go to TiVo Central. Go down to Find Programs, then select Season Pass Manager. Select the Season Pass you want to modify, and select "Change Recording Options." It'll be in there.

Thanks for the response.  The weird thing is is that it did not give me an option to change recording quality.  I had to go into settings and I had a default for it to record on best quality for analog channels, I simply canceled that season pass, changed it to basic quality and had to redo the season pass all over.  The weird thing though is that when trying a season pass or just a 1 time recording on an analog cable channel, it gave me the quality option, not with channel 24.  And like I said, I was sure I was on channel 24, not 524, that's weird, but oh well.  Thanks again for the info.
