Sunday's Journal/Sentinel Employment section is a total joke. One page of jobs and the rest is advertising. It's not a internet vs. paper thing either, it just goes to show how unique today's situation really is.

I'll be joining you all soon.  FedEx is closing my office in May.  I just got my BA in marketing, which is useless, but I'm willing to work cheap as the wife and I don't have much for huge expenses.  Hopefully a company will catch on to that.

I don't know what the situation is right now at the local Post office?  I worked there for over a year as a temp until I was able to get a real job. The pay was $10 an hour.

One basically gets hired if one passes the background and drug test. If they are hiring

It's very bad.  Despite being funded by the public, they are barely surviving.  Mail is on the downturn anyway, and during a recession, companies don't send as much stuff out.

The only "mail type" positions available are in rural WI too far for people in the SE WI area.
