FOX6 Weather "Parody" Ad

Diring Idol tonight, I saw a local ad from Fox 6. It showed Vince Condella and Ted Perry talking about local weather, and when it is right to "stop talking about it." They say that once the problem is over, they should move on to other important news, and that "Less is More."

But the interesting part was Fox 6 "ripping" on the other stations weather coverage and their closing tickers showing unncesessary information. They quickly show fake logos of the other stations. One that I caught quickly was Yesterday's TMJ4. The ad went so fast that I couldn't see the other parody logos. Did anyone DVR Idol? If so, would it be possible showing the screenshot of the ad? I think it aired between 8:20 and 8:35. It was very funny!

Looks like Fox 6 is getting feisty with the other local stations. It's main point was to promote their new slogan "What you need, when you need it."

Thanks!

here's the logo parodies from the commercial

Hey Fox6, "Alliance Rehab Services" shouldn't be on your ticker either. Keep it to important things like schools. Private businesses can go on the web site.

Let's hope someone is finally getting the point.. Nobody cares about the fact that it's snowing in the middle of winter and that Krispy Kreme is closed. :OnAir:

Heh - I was just watching Idol on my DVR, saw this commercial, and had to come here and see what everyone else's reaction was.

The problem is, it was somewhat of a self-defeating commercial, because when they show the banners like they did all stacked up on top of each other, FOX 6's banner doesn't look any different than the other networks they were ridiculing.

Well, in the screen capture here, the Fox banner is smaller, and doesn't have a "bug" that takes up the bottom 25% of the screen. Maybe that's the point they are trying to make with their "less is more" slogan.
