I was pleasantly surprised to see the exhibition game last night broadcast in HD! Does this show that even the Green Bay market has surpassed Milwaukee's in local HD content? While Milw, STILL has no local news in HD,I wouldn't be surprised if a Green Bay station beats them to the punch. Milwaukee local tv,SO woefully behind the times. :bang:

So how exactly has the last 2 Packer games been in HD? I missed last weeks due to a wedding, but I seen most of the Bronco game.

These are the facts I know...the graphics used were the same as CBS. Im also about 95% sure that the announcers were from CBS.

So did CBS hook us up with HD preseason for a few games? If they did, it really shows why 58.1 should be all alone without any sub channels. I flipped back and forth between the Pack and the Cowboys game. Both broadcast in 1080i, both used the same CBS epuipment, but the Pack on 18.1 was much sharper and cleaner than the Cowboys game.

Can someone post the exacts of how this HD broadcast was brought to us?

Sort of how it was demonstrated in Willy Wonka where the particles float in the air over your head.

CBS Sports is producing the games for the Packers Television Network.
