From this source, looks like a "new" Time Warner Cable!

-But a change for more HD channels sooner for Wisconsin?

Probably not, as NYC gets up to 50 HD channels on 4/30!

Take the news as if nothing will change in Wisconsin for TWC HD subs, but then again, you never really know.:D

Actually, as a TWC HD subscriber, I could care less even if TWC Milwaukee added all these HD channels.  Where's FX?  Where's SciFi?

gparris

It is a varied mix of HD channel being added, true, but high "action" HD channels, those most likely to watched in HD with an HD sub, are missing yet, as you mentioned.
Many subs I know of would like their premiums finally in HD, other than just the two we have had for so long.
The five Discovery HD channels are often asked for too,  but I wonder how many of HD subs call in and beg for the Sci-Fi HD Channel (like me), as well? Probably many.

But as they "go it alone" so to speak, TWC has options that it may not have had and the big addition of HD channels in their own corporate city is a big step...of course, you would have to live in NYC on the 30th, too.:(

Some interesting stats in that second link.  I never realized that we were in TWC's 5th largest division.  That makes our short list of HD channels even more pathetic.

It's cool that we are the 5th largest, but we sure aren't treat as such! It's been a long time since we got a new HD channel.
As far as them going independent , who cares I don't really see things changing much. They are falling so far behind, that they would need more money to catch up to their dish competitors. And a smarter plan!

We can now see that TWC is using a Lean Manufacturing approach to their service.
They want to make more money using less channels.:rof: :huh?:
