Looking for a vendor in SE Wisconsin that will do Directv installations.  Anyone have any referrals?

JB Custom Wiring & Installations (Jeff Burback) comes highly recommended by several members.

Indeed. You can't go wrong with Jeff. I've used him several times.

I used Jeff when I had DTV installed about 8 years ago and I agree with what everyone here is saying. He is very skilled and does excellent work.

I sent him an email, but the old email address I have for him bounced back... Anybody have current contact info?

I finally found his business card. This is a couple of years old, so I don't know how accurate this info is, but this is what's on the card.

I'm seriously thinking about dumping TWC and going to DTV (when an installer can work on the roof), but have an installation question.  Why would I want to use an independent installer instead of calling DTV like my daughter did?  Can I get the same deals?  Can I still get the "extended service warranty" that covers dvr problems, etc?  (Guess that's more than one question.)

That's OK... we don't have a one question limit. :rof:

I appreciate the information, but unfortunately that number is no longer in service.  Anyone have any other ideas.  I have DTV already installed and I am adding another TV in my basement.  I have the cables already in the wall and I need them to connect to the box by the dish

I did have DTV install my service, but I am just adding an additional TV and I just need someone to connect the cable to the dish.  To have DTV come out to do this small task will cost too much

I have contacted Digital Direct out of Antioch to handle this for me tomorrow.  Thanks to all

Jeff seems to have disappeared, so my question is: who is around to do a great DirecTV custom install with SWM wiring, multiple receivers, etc?  Money is not the object -- a very professional, properly-done install is what I'm looking for -- come Spring.

Jeff has to be around.  I spoke with him sometime around thanksgiving about doing an install for me in spring.  Give me a day or two and I'll see if I can find his card again.  It might be at work, so it might take until monday/tuesday.

When I spoke with him he was still doing installations.

Super guy & great work.

I contacted Digital Direct out of Antioch Il, and they came the next day and completed my work.  Set up my new TV with an HR21 and the cost was just $199 for the box and this  included installation.
