NFL Sunday Ticket Question

Hi there.  I'm new to DirecTV and have the NFL Sunday Ticket package and the super fan package.  My question is this.  The Packer game on Sunday is in HD on channel 721.  Will it be blacked out here in Milwaukee on that channel forcing me to watch it in SD on channel 58?

We don't have Fox in Green Bay in HD on Directv. The games have always been on the ticket for me. So I would assume You would get it.

Why don't you have an antenna for 58 HD?  Unless you have the newest HR721 DVR without antenna in, it wouldn't take much of an antenna to get a solid signal in Wauwatosa.

How'd you end up with the Sunday Ticket for only the last four games?  Did they prorate the package price?

Directv doesn't black out the Sunday Ticket games even when there's a local broadcast or local black out.  This Sunday you'll receive the game in SD on 58 and then again on two channels in the 700s (one SD and one HD).  Local commercials are replaced with Directv propoganda on the Sunday Ticket channels.

I also got the rest of Sunday Ticket with Superfan free, waiting installer, 12-5pm window:) . Just asked about it.

Direct TV blacks out the games shown in SD (704-716). However, the HD broadcasts have no blackouts, so you can watch the Packer game in HD on the channels between 719-726.

Thanks for the info!  I do have the new HR21 HD DVR and haven't bought an antanna yet and don't know if I will since it can't be hooked up to the dvr.

I got the premier package and Sunday ticket for $70/month for 4 months with the super fan pkg free.

The HR21 does not have a OTA tuner.
