Great article in the Business Journal on the HD plans for local stations

General topic is that 4, 12 and 58 have budgeted money for their local programming to be broadcast in HD by early 2009.  12 seems to be the most aggressive, actually promising a launching in February 2009, with a new HD-friendly news set.   6 is in limbo because they're being sold.

Channel 6 is in flux once again.
NBC and Channel 4 appear to be partners (affilates) for a long time, no changes.
Channel 4 was one of the first to offer colour TV locally, stereo audio and so on, at least from my perspective.
I would think that the first all-HD station locally in Milwaukee could very well be WTMJ-4, but then again, Channel 12 isn't to shabby, either, techno-wise.
CBS58 needs more viewers for its news and such, IMO, so HD locals could be the competitive "ticket".

Odd.... this morning, they at least had a executive summary of the article with a "Paid Subscribers Only" notice... now, the article isn't even there anymore. You can even go to the index of articles from this week's edition for paid subscribers, the article isn't listed.
