From reading a few of the other forums it seemed that Dish Network wasn't going to have TBS-HD for the playoffs. I guess they got the deal worked out because the channel is live now.

Rocking the TBS-HD on Uverse here to woo hoo!

Looks like TBS-HD is on almost everywhere, some sort of big push, unheardup in HD channel history, of a sort:

Good timing for TBS, playoffs went well for them. In November everybody starts complaining about streched content on TBS HD:p

Yup, after the playoffs are over on TBS I probably won't be watching that station again for a year.

Same here. I don't watch must on TBS. However, the new Frank TV show that they can't stop telling you about might be worth a look...

brewtownska

Yeah, you best be watching the Frank show, seeing as he's a Waukesha native!

Probably the MLB Play-offs will be the only HDTV programming that will be carried in HD except maybe reruns of other network Television shows like "LAW AND ORDER". Why pay for cable if much of the cable schedule is filled with reruns like "COPS" which is on several cable channels and could be seen on  OTA channel 6. What should be of concern to subscribers is the lack of original cable programming. Why is HD. so important when cable is lacking in quality original programming?
