Well, reviewing the RoadRunner operation history for problems with it, my clients/friends/family have a basically, a good experience:
Digital Phone, not-so-good.
Maybe TWC should stick with these last two, since Digital Phone is a VOIP thing, anyway and re-vamp its entire cabletv operations.:D

Now, I used to have Directv in my other home before I sold it, for the very reason I dumped cabletv service back then:
-a lack of channel selection and bad analogue channel reception...now its skimpy national HD channel selection.

Today, with more and more HD channels being actually available, TWC has at least "allowed" its subscribers access to all the HD locals (finally), so that is a competitive thing for those who are unable to get them or get them reliably OTA.
-But if all you do is watch network HD and want to record it with their HD DVR, good for you...but if you want more variety without those analogues, get the satellite services.:)

Additionally, Directv I believe offers affordable HD DVRs because over time, these can be paid off with buying their HR20 on a discount (some subs get them for $199) and combined with the less-expensive DVR fees that Directv charges vs. TWC's $16/month fees...maybe a year or less per box and its paid for.

So what do I tell my referrals and do for setups? Satellite, of course.
