They were in HD last night too. You don't exactly have to wait 6 months, but waiting till September 24th for the next series in HD is a pretty long time.   They are on ESPN on September 21st. I think that should be in HD, but who knows. If the Brewers keep slumping then ESPN may not waste the production dollars to put it in HD.

Is Fox Sports HD on Directv, and if so what channel is it?

Yes, D* has been carrying the Fox Sports HD broadcasts. I've seem them on channels 95 and/or 730. You have to flip around a bit. What irritated me was when the Brewers were on ESPN HD about a week or two ago and D* couldn't carry the HD feed because of prior commitments to Fox Sports WI. ESPN was blacked out for that game so we had to watch the poor quality SD broadcast on channel 642.

There aren't that many so I doubt you are missing some.  That will change next month though.
