Sorry if this is the wrong Area. I live in the sticks and satellite is only available to me. I have Directv with the sports pack. They have the FSN North channel but it is the Minnesota feed. The only time they have the WI feed is when there is a game on. That really sucks and I have told them that. Well at least I can watch the brewers, bucks etc. Anyways, the channel is in SD and very, very rarely does Directv broadcast that channel in HD. I think there was one game last year. I know time warner has the WI feed channel on all the time and a dedicated HD channel for all the HD programming. There is no way that time warner is available in my area- I have tried. Is there any possible way I can get this channel 24/7 or at least in HD when the sport games are on? I just saw that AT&T has this new service. I will look into that. But anyone know about Dishnetwork and FSN north or other ways of getting this channel? Thanks in advance.

Go Brewers!

If I am not mistaken, there was not much programming on that channel last year.  Maybe a game or two in HD.  I do not believe there is a way of getting that channel way up there.  The new AT&T service is being rolled out in Milwaukee presently...not sure if they were advertising it on one of your local channels up there or not, but quite strange.  All in all, the channel is nice when there is something on, but usually just takes up space...TWC subscribers, correct me if I am wrong...

Fox Sports Net HD (Channel 531 on TWC) has been blank for months.  It is a dedicated channel that is blank 340 days out of the year.

I understand that it is blank. But I am a die hard brewers fan and HD fan. I want the channel for the other 25 days of the year when they are broadcasting an HD baseball game. So Time Warner is the only way to get this HD channel? Thanks.

Actually, there have been more than a couple of Bucks games in HD the past few months.  Unfortunately, I have noticed that TW has not updated their channel/banner guide for 531 to reflect this.

Here was the Bucks HD schedule:

Milwaukee Bucks
2006-07 HDTV Schedule

Nov. 14 Tuesday at Atlanta 6:00 p.m.
Dec. 16 Saturday Minnesota 7:30 p.m.
Dec. 20 Wednesday Miami 7:00 p.m.
Dec. 22 Friday at Minnesota 7:00 p.m.
Jan. 5 Friday Cleveland 7:30 p.m.
Jan. 8 Monday at Denver 8:00 p.m.
Jan. 26 Friday Phoenix 7:30 p.m.
Feb. 20 Tuesday Detroit 7:00 p.m.
Mar. 7 Wednesday L.A. Lakers 7:00 p.m.
Mar. 10 Saturday Cleveland 7:30 p.m.

As far as I know, TW is the only carrier that provides Fox Sports North Wisconsin in HD.  I haven't been able to find a telecast schedule for the Brewers yet, but there are sure to be a handful of games in HD.

You could also pony up for DirecTV's MLB Extra Innings package.  They are providing an HD feed for a few of the games each day.

D* also carries the Brewers in HD, when available.  It is usually on ch. 95 but who knows this year.
