DirecTV Premier Package Upgrade / HD

Called them inquiring about upgrading to an HD DVR..............Got the same deal that everyone else has been offered $99.00, etc.........(Still pondering it, as they are backed up thru the middle of March. Besides, I dont think they should be getting on my roof with the snow and all).........Anyway, they proposed the  Premier upgrade from what I presently have ( The Total Choice + HBO & the HD Package, locals &  ABC East & West)..........).......It  runs $99.00.....They offered it for $79.00 for 6 months. It includes all the premium channel +  Sports Pack, etc... 250 channels in all.......and  no long term comittment was necessary.

Including the HD package, the bill is $106.00 per month.

Curious to know how this compares to the other providers.
