I think its really a mixed bag of what will take off on a rocket at sea or land.
Both sats, as I understand it, are not coming off a sea platform, thankfully.:D

These Spaceways are so advanced that even a few dozen HD national channels could still appear by summer at the latest, IMO.:)

I got my hr20 upgrade yesterday (man, that dish is big..so big that one of our neighbors had to dirve by real slow and look).

The installer said that it will be between 100 and 150 channels and it will happen by June

Yes, the new 5 LNB dish is larger, as my brother noticed when I made him get his MPEG4 box and dish when he "upgraded" to HDTV with my installation/setup.

Didn't you get the new "Slimline" Directv dish?

I thought that is all they installed more recently!

Yeah it's a slim line.. still pretty large, especially when our subdivision's restrictions prohibit anything bigger than an 18 inch round dish.

But if I get any heat, I'll tell them it's either this or the biggest, ugliest rooftop antenna I can get, and let them know that FCC rules prevent them from saying squat about any outdoor antenna. :)

Thanks, the slimline is still big, but nowhere as ugly, they should be quiet about it, honestly.

Same goes for that squareshooter antenna, which looks like a large brillo pad and you can mount it with the dish unit.
With this non-ugly antenna, you  can get those other HD locals that Milwaukeeans can't get from Directv,  like CBSHD, which is very unfortunate due to CBS58's lack of caring, for those would opt for Directv HD service with it for a one-dish-only solution.

If we had Chicago's Directv situation, like those to my immediate south, they even get 5 HD locals, including CWHD (then sign-me-up for 2 HR20's).
