Sound on 36-1

The sound on 36-1 cuts off for about one second every three or four minutes.
This also happens occassionally on other HD channels - but not as often on 36-1. I do not have cable.

How are you getting your signal? Are you using a set top box or built-in tuner?

From the built in-set tuner. This PM it did not do it but it was not HD it was DTV. I wonder if it has to do with HD? I have a Hitachi - plasma.

Same problem on my Sony KDF-E50A10 (OTA).  The sound has been dropping for the past two days, about once every minute...video is not affected. This has happened in the past.  Then, the problem disappears for a few weeks.  On Wednesday and Thursday night, the problem returned.  All other channels have no drop outs so it's got to be unique to 36.1.  I didn't watch last night nor today.  Actually, I watch most of my PBS programming on WTTW DT11 out of Chicago to avoid the nasty blue logo on 36.1.

Likewise my problem has gone away - but it comes back. It has happened on other stations when they were in HD; but not as often.
So is it an OTA problem, a station problem or an equipment problem?
The reason I ask is because I am trying to decide on taking the extended warrenty or not..................
Also, why must they have that blue logo?
