Ch18-24/ 5.1

Hello,
   Can anybody shead some light on why the HD shows on ch 18 & 24  do not transmit 5.1 audio this year ( Smallville). Smallville had 5.1 audio last year.

The WB sent 5.1 audio all of the time regardless if it was "real" or not.

Here is the list of CW programs in that are produced in 5.1 (3/2L)

Runaway
Veronica Mars
One Tree Hill
Supernatural
Everybody Hates Chris
Girlfriends
The Game

All other programs from the CW are 2/0 stereo.

MyNetworkTV programming is not sent to us in 5.1 surround.
