I had something strange happen on Sunday with the Packer game.

I left for the weekend on Friday AM and I swear that I set the DVR to record the game. When I got home on Sunday at about 5 PM to watch the game, to my suprise and horror the game did not record (agony spared however). I might have screwed up, but I thought I was good to go.

Did this happen to anyone else? Any history on this problem from anyone?

Thanks!

My worst nightmare!!!!

When it's something THAT important, I set both my DVR's (The HD one for the big TV and regular one in the bedroom) just in case I screw up.

Did you have more than two shows being recorded? If so, it may have gotten bumped. It's always a good idea to to check your scheduled shows to be recorded to make sure that you don't have any conflicting recordings.

Tom...which HD-DVR do you have? I am getting my first HDTV on Saturday and need to know what is the best TWC HD-DVR to get. My tv will support HDMI.

Thanks...

Time Warner only offers the 8300. If you've made up your mind that you're going with TWC, then you'll have no real choice.

Actually, they gave me the option of the 8000 or the 8300. I chose the 8300...though some say it is a bit buggy. I will try the HDMI connection first...then the Component if the HDMI acts up.

8000 is more buggy and slower than the 8300.
