Pretty exciting stuff...150 HD Channel capacity by end of next year and whole house distribution capabilities look cool. With their history of delays on new technology, the question mark is when all this stuff will REALLY happen.. but at least it's in their plans.

As the TWC installers were busy with some new connections for a next door neighbour yesterday, I inquired once again if TWC was getting more HD channels soon.
The typical answer was "you know, we were asking our supervisor about that very thing...no".
While they were very sincere and genuine about it all, I think they were clueless (as usual) and I am not blaming them.
Point is, when Directv hits the area with ALL HD locals and two dozen national HD channels:
TWC-Watch out!
I have seen this report from satelliteguys before and if it pans out to be a reality, my recommedations will switch back to Directv.
