H20 Audio Sync Issues

I just added a H20 to my system last week and the audio delay is extremely annoying on many channels...HBO HD is horrible.  Has anyone else had this problem and is there a fix?  I'm tempted to exchange the unit but don't know if that would help.  

I'm getting all the local HD off of an OTA and that dialogue is also delayed.  Thanks for any help.

I have had the H20 for a few months now & have not had any such problem although I am receiving my channels via the 3 LNB setup.

Is this receiver using the new 5 LNB MPEG4 dish?  If so maybe it has to do with that?

Maybe it needs a software upgrade?

A call to D might be needed.

It is hooked up on a 3 lnb dish, so I only get my HD locals through the antenna.

My software version says 0F06 & was downloaded 5-9-06.  Other than that it could be a bad box, mine was a refirb so maybe the bugs were already out.   :drink:

Yep, same software.  I'm going to exchange it.

There are defective H20 units.  I wouldn't be surprised if you got one.  When we bought ours, it was defective and had to send it back.  We ended up getting a refurbished unit.  There is also an update floating around out there.  With any luck, the update might fix the problem.  Other than that, I would exchange it.

I have a Panasonic DVD Recorder,  model DMR-E50 and the RCA DTC 210.. I am not able to format it to record, because it only recognizes VCR'S.

Would one of you be kind enough to look in the index of the H20, or on the on-screen program and see if it is on the list.

I an considering upgrading, and would like to employ that feature.

If not, any suggestions on how to mate them
