Confirmation on WITI-DT's signal?

Yes, I have been messing around trying to get FOX's digital signal yet again...I want to see NFC play-offs in 16:9 480p. I have mounted my RS DBT antenna to a outside pole about 21/2 stories up (used to be in the attic 3 stories up)...not past my roof line though. I have increased all other channels signals from mid 80's, low 90's to the high 90's, but where I was getting FOX at 22, now I cant even get any type of signal to measure.
Are they on the air, or not? I should be getting something, even if its low signal.

Anyone confirm they are ON?
Thanks
Matt

Matt: I can confirm that WITI-DT is on! I just tuned to it at 4:13pm today, right after I read your post. I have yet to finalize a antenna setup, so for now all I am using to get CBS 58 (1-1), TV41 (1-2),   1-3 (some spnish channel), Fox 6 (6-1), ABC 12 (12-1) and various analog broadcasts, is a Terk TV42 dish-mounted omni-directional amplified UHF/VHF antenna. If I disconnect it and then hook up my Radio Shack amped UHF/VHF rabbitt ears, I DON'T get WITI 6-1, nor do I get CBS 1-1,1-2 (Ch. 41)nor 1-3. I DO however then pick up and lock on to PBS 10-1 thru 10-5 and 12-1 (WISN). So, as I stated, I have to arrive at a decision on an antenna that will be able to receive most, if not ALL of the digital broadcasts in this area. BTW, I live on the NW side of Milwaukee (roughly 76th and Good Hope Road).

And this is why I don't want to buy a OTA STB. Constantly moving the antenna around to get all the stations.

I love my rotor ... makes the moving a breeze !

I also like the 'what will I find today' factor, what with the ducting, etc, makes me feel like a treasure hunter !

Todd may be a geek, Kerry but at least he knows REAL FOOTBALL, not that sissy stuff with the round ball!!!

I wear the 'geek' badge with hono(u)r, my friend !! Thanks !

I like soccer, as well, played a season of indoor recreation league, as a matter of fact.

You know, I'd be happy to have you over for an HD football clinic when CBS does the playoff games

Matt Heebner

Thats what I was afraid of. I can not get their signal without spending $200 on a roof-top antenna set-up. I do not want to spend that on a 480p enhanced definition signal...but it is better than standard and it's football.
Oh well....looks like I will be concentrating more on ABC and CBS 's ball games.

I tried the exact same experiment with my Bow Tie on a stick... tried it with and without an amplifier... should have posted the disappointing results to save you the effort.

I hate to pour a can of gasoline on the fire here, but I tuned in to channel 6.1 a couple of days ago and found one of their Widescreen shows.  Fastlane I think it was.  Well anyway, I was pleasantly surprised to see it as DVD quality.  Maybe they got some new equipment to do the 480P widescreen vs. whatever widescreen they were passing before.

Hopefully that will work out for playoff games.  Not that it matters to most on this forum.

I believe Saturday Night's Packer/Falcon game is on ABC. No Widescreen but at least a decent upconverted picture...

I wonder if I'll be able to get the game in Montego Bay....they do have satellite Tv but who knows if they have a channel that will carry it...oh well probably won't watch anyhow...just enjoy the gorgeous weather instead.

I am sure they have it there! I've watched the Packers vs. the 49ers play-offs one year from Puerto Penasco in Mexico with about 100 other Packer fans in a sports bar. It was truely awesome!
