Mr. Hall:

Directv subscribers (who also watch 58 via their antennas) have a request for you.  Since CBS 58 is multicasting all the games, and since CBS-58 refuses to show us the games in HD, could you:

Select as your "primary" game only games that CBS is NOT doing in HD?  It shouldn't matter much which game you select as your primary game, since they are all available via multicast.  With only 1 local team remaining in the tournament, this seems to be a reasonable request and very easy to do!

See, when you choose an HD game but do not show it in HD, you make it unavailable to us on Directv as it gets blacked out.  We can (as we should) get the CBS games in HD as part of the Mega March Madness package.

And I can't emphasize enough how wonderful NCAA tournament games are to watch when they are in HD!   But choosing a standard definition game as your primary game, you will be allowing the consumer to choose if they want to get the game in HD or not.  The way our free market is supposed to work!

However, by choosing an HD game, and not showing us it in HD, you are mandating that noone in Southern Wisconsin should be allowed to watch it in HD.  That is not right, and is very selfish of CBS-58.

So, PLEASE, when selecting games to be your "primary" games this weekend, please be respectful to those consumers who do care about HD.  Since CBS-58 refuses to broadcast HD, at least allow those of us willing to pay for it (via Directv) to be able to watch it.  PLEASE!
