Starting a few days ago, the latest threads are not showing up on my computer, unless I hit "show threads" EVERY TIME on EACH FORUM section. How can I fix this? I just noticed the same thing is happening on a different forum. So there has to be something wrong with my computer. Any ideas?

In this section(On/Off Topic), the latest thread showing up is Feb. 12 by Joseph S.
That's 2 weeks ago.

When you hold your sursor over your time on the lower right corner, what date displays?

The cursor arrow disappears and nothing displays.

Is the date and time set correctly on your computer Ralph?  Maybe the forum software relies on our computers to tell what time it is.  I know there is also a setting in the User CP to adjust the time zones.

Ralph Kramden

Yes, my computer time and time zone is set properly. Like I said, it's also doing the same thing on another forum I frequent(Hometheatertalk.com). This is really ****ing me off. For every section I go to, I have to hit "show threads" on the bottom for them to appear.

Have you tried deleting cookies? or Using Firefox if using IE? Haven't seen this before.

I've beed having bad luck logging into the MKEHDTV site

 for 3 weeks now.....

I've found my current ID & Password for 2 weeks... but the MKEHDTV site

  toggles between the MKE HDTV.ORG  & MKEHDTV.COM....

A relogin had trouble redirecting...  to the 'Good .ORG Forum'...

The Forum reverts to MKEHDTV.COM which is bad....

The MKE.COM Forum offers todays new forum items.....

The MKE.ORG Forum offers all new items since my last good logon..

If this site would continue to 'remember' my ID.......

I think things would be solved for MKEHDTV.ORG......

   I'm using IE 6.01...    Browser....

Ahh.. OK. It all goes back to that day that milwaukeehdtv.org expired and we made changes to point everything to milwaukeehdtv.com so the siten was stil accessible. We didn't change it back. I'm in the process of doing that now. That should take care of it. Sorry...

Why does it seem I'm the only one affected?

Tom Snyder

Look in your URL bar in the top of your browser... is it showing milwaukeehdtv.com or milwaukeehdtv.org? It should be showing .ORG

It shows .ORG, then as soon as I click on "Forums" it switches to .COM.

Tom Snyder

Not sure what page you're on when you click, but it sounds like you have an old page stuck in your browser cache. Hit reload on that page and try it again... if it doesn't refersh so the forum link points ot .org, you can just go directly to the forums by pasting http://www.milwaukeehdtv.org/forums/ in your browser.

Another cool trick is to use (and make a book mark of) http://www.milwaukeehdtv.org/forums/search.php?do=getnew

That will just show only you the threads with new posts since your last visit.  :)

Thank you. It seems to be fixed now. It's staying on .ORG and showing the posts.
