Looking for some assistance or guidance, last night on Desparate Housewives and last week on Lost & Invasion, there were major issues with sound & pictures  I have TWC, what is causing this problem, is it my box?  TWC?  or TV station? :bang:

Mark Strube

Well you must be more specific... what kinds of problems?

afa3

FWIW, we didn't notice any problems on Desperate Housewives last night, and I don't remember any problems on Lost (and Invasion) either. This is via TWC in Muskego.

Mark Strube

Yeah no major issues on Desperate Housewives for me... via TWC in Elm Grove. Only one or two minor breakups which is usual for TWC's feed of ABC.

I believe the term I have seen is pixelation - different colors appearing on across the screen & audio interruption

FiberOptic

FWIW ,TWC said it is my box that is causing the issues.  The official term they use is tiling

Their antenna blows at TWC and audio problem is always there for me. However, pixelation may be your signal or box overheating as well. For example, even last night's Victoria's Secret show had dropouts of picture and sound toward the end but OTA PVR had no issues.

The Victoria's Secret show was that hot eh? :p   So hot it caused your equipment to overheat.  That is the first time I've heard of programming content causing an equipment problem. :D

Joseph S

It was a TWC issue with reception.  ;) OTA had no issues at all with reception other than the usual pixelation due to multicasting.

No reception problems except yours reported.  Did you set up a service call w/TW?
