Anyone else notice the switching from stereo to DD, then back to stereo within about 10 seconds?  It seems like it's a 2.0 audio feed.  I noticed it because every so often the rear speakers would cut out.  I looked at my receiver and it said DD, but then when the rears came back it would go back to PLII.

There was a continual popping noise on the Keira Knightley interview last night as well. Annoying as hell and didn't happen with the commercials.

It wasn't just you, my audio was jumping from enhanced to standard digital, with the center channel dropping in-and-out.

Different problems Wednesday night in NYC.. colors shifted horizontally.. NBC has been having problems all night with rain in NYC.
The SD net has been coming out of Burbank all night.
But there is no backup HD uplink in Burbank.

We gave up during Leno and switched to the SD feed.

Hoping for a glitch free Charlize Theron interview in HD. Not looking likely.

After spending a small fortune on HD I'm beginning to believe I have a big SUCKER tattoo on my forehead. To say that HD is not ready for prime time is an extreme understatement.  Constant audio drops, lingering transmitting power issues with several stations still not at full power, switching problems abound, this OTA HD system from the major networks is being run like a huge beta test. Surprisingly the PBS seems to be unplagued by all these faults. They were broadcasting HD a lot longer so what do they know that the other networks don't?

It's been happening all this week and for the past 3 weeks.  Mostly during the Tonight Show, but has happened also on earlier programming as well.  My receiver also goes from Prologic to Dolby and then back again.  There's about a second and a half delay for me with no audio while that switching occurs.  :guns:
