Letterman not in widescreen?

Although Letterman has been trumpeting his show on HDTV the program was not in Widescreen last night.   :(    :mad:    :guns:

Considering it was Labor Day, perhaps it was a repeat of a show from before they switched to HD?

Not a repeat.. he had Sheperd Smith from Fox news talking about the New Orleans Flooding. I was watching on the small TV i nthe bedroom, so I didn't see if it was widescreen or not...  Will have to pay attention tonight. :)

Strangely enough, the intro was in widescreen, but the show wasn't.  Maybe they had problems because of the holiday.
