Launch date for ESPN2 HD is 9/8 on D*!

Even though there are some who complain about the TNT-HD channel, the picture and sound are better than the analogue-digitally-delivered regular TNT channel.

From what I have read in other forums, it is still requested by many Directv HD subscribers.

I haven't heard anything, and to be honest I am surprised they are adding this. If I had to guess, it would be that we aren't seeing TNT-HD until MPEG4. But I was wrong about this so who knows.
