WTMJ-DT switching failure?

Wednesday 9:33 P.M the voice part of the Law and Order  signal disappeared.
The other sounds came through O.K.
Sirens, road noise etc but no vocals from the people?
Weird !!

I had the same problem.  Also have had it happen before.

HD isn't much good if you don't have the voices so I had to switch to the regular 4.

Not sure what causes it to happen though.

5.1 switching issue maybe.  I've seen it happen on other shows on channel 4.  Seems like the center channel is just completely cut out and all you get is background noise.

This has been happening on NBC for at least six months. It happened on West Wing, Crossing Jordan, Las Vegas, Medium, etc.

I heard it was a network issue, but I can't imagine the whole country receiving these problems and not hearing more complaining about it.
