HGTV and Food Network have become the latest American cable channels to confirm plans to launch high definition services.

Cynopsis.com reports that both nets will go HD during 2006.

This is great news!  Two very female friendly channels going HD can only help adoption of HD to all those [Sexist remark - apology] wifes [/Sexist remark - apology] that do not see the big deal with HD.

Also, Racheal Ray in HD can't be all that bad for the rest of the population also :rofl:
