Hello,
This is to inform you that for over the last hour, TWC has been having problems with their HD system, specifically with channels 505 and 507.  At the studio site for WDJT, OTA receivers are not picking up any problems.  TWC problems are no audio, extreme digitization and loss of signal.  TWC has had technicians in route for over an hour.  If you are an OTA person and are having more problems than usual, please let me know thru this post.  If you are a TWC subscriber, please let me know also.

I am a Charter customer (from what I understand they get their signal for WDJT from Time Warner) and I currently cannot recieve WDJT either.  Tryng to tune to that station I get a black screen or the channel before it freezes.

I did notice some issues after 6pm, but at 6:30pm, ch 505 looked great.  What ever the issue was, it seems to be fixed

Yes, Charter would most likely be out also.  TWC ships the signal over fiber to Charter, so if TWC was having a problem, Charter would also.  I was informed around 7pm that TWC's demodulator at their Brookfield headend had failed and they switched over to their Greenfield headend once they figured out the problem.
Thank you for your input.

The end of the first game was completely unwatchable on TWC here. Didn't have OTA up at that point. Second game was better.

I am a TWC customer. We have been having terrible problems for the last few days with 505. It seems to have started with the UW-Milwaukee game on Thursday. During the UW-Badger game on Friday it was almost to the point that it was not watchable. In fact during the post game show we lost HD completely but channel 05 was OK. I checked the 611 diagnostics and the tuner on my SA8000HD reported it switched to ananlog - NO QAM!! Other channels seem OK but they do have their share of droputs but nothing unusual. Today both games seemed OK but the Cold Case immediately after the game was terrible. Could not watch it with all of the dropouts. Had to switch to 05. By the way - We are at Hub ID 75 in the Town of Mukwonago. I just checked and "Terms of Endearment" is terrible!! Hope this helps!

Is this stuff a local issue or a TWC issue in general?

I used to have issues with PBS a few years ago, they checked signal and said, "too much." Tried two box swaps and a couple splits without changes. Yet, one day it all went away. Then it happend on INHD and INHD2 during oscar weekend this year. Cleared up the next week. Now it's CBS.

Symptoms: Pixelation and/or bars of pixelation, with or without audio dropouts. All other HD/SD stations have been perfect at these times. Seems like a bandwidth issue or reception issue at TWC.

It is TWC problem. CBS58 OTA was/is fine.
