HD PPV Anime

Just wanted to let all D* subscribers know that right now D* is showing Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence on thei HD PPV channel. It is $5 to rent, but is recordable (with HD Tivo), and, get this. Obviously OAR (1.85:1), but also Dolby 5.1 AND in japanese with english subtitles. Really this is one of the most impressive PPV opportunities I have seen in years, probably since D* first offered letterboxed movies in 5.1 years ago.

Anyway, you have to wait for it to come around as with all movies on the HD PPV channel, but if you can catch a convenient time or happen to have an HD Tivo it is well worth it.

Although not really an anime fan, I have seen Ghost in the Shell, and it is pretty awesome. I will probably make an effort to check it out.

Don't waste your money on GiTS 2. It's nothing like the original. You'll be disappointed.

The GitS tv series that's showing on the Cartoon network is much better and it's free.
