Well guys, this is the time of year the media tells us that more HDTV are sold for the game, then any other time of year. So I guess we shouldn't make a liar out of them. This is personally my 2nd year with my HD, readying myself for the big game. This is about the time when friends & neighbors want to come over and checkout the "big screen", so all I can say is today is our day. So show it proud, show it proud!

This is also my second year with HD, and the second year I'll be watching the Super Bowl in plain ol' SD.

Last year, I couldn't get it because my HD receiver couldn't "see" channel 1-1, since 58 wasn't using their assigned channel number. :bang:   (I'm glad they finally corrected that.)

This year I'm foiled by Fox's patheically weak signal. :bang:

Oh well, there's always next year.  To those of you lucky enough to receive the Fox signal - enjoy!

I'm in Glendale with a rooftop antenna.  How hard can this be?  It's station 33, right?

All I get is "weak signal!"

If the antenna is aim-able, try aiming away from the 12 tower.

It's a good chance that 12's signal on 34 is overpowering 33's signal.  If you can see both towers, 12's will be the more Northern one, and 6 will be the southern one. Aim your antenna in the opposite direction  from the 12 tower (to the right/South of BOTH towers).

Excellent advice Tom.  I had to do a little tweaking myself before the game.  I didn't want any breakups.  Worked like a charm.

In Wales: Milwaukee Fox6 was very good until after the half time show, then pixelation started up, it was bad enough that I switched to Fox47 from Madison.   It's good to have choices.

I can say without  hesitation, that my reception was better then the game.  :)
