Personally I only ordered the HD package to get ESPN for football. I'm curious what other people plan to do.

For me the only thing to have if you have an HDTV really IS the HD package, as the SD channels tend to really look bad after HD watching
The thing about it all is that there are few HD channels that we CAN get and if it means spending a few dollars more a month for five more channels that ARE HD, like HDNET/Movies and the INHD 1 & 2, so be it (oh, yeah, and ESPN-HD).

IMO, if you only watch HD for sports, it is pretty sad.  :(

HDTV has other things that look great on it BESIDES sports, ya' know!

I wish there were more HD channels available, when you watch something on HD and then go to an analog, its like going from cable to rabbit ears.  Direct TV may be calling me soon, need to get ready for baseball season

The only HD sports I watched was the Packers, but that's over... never got the HD package to watch ESPN... I got it for all the other great stuff... ESPN isn't even in HD 3/4 of the time anyways.

Yeah the HD Package is a keeper, there is always College/Pro Basketball and Baseball season is right around the corner.  Hockey really blow it for EPSN HD watching.
