8-1 ?? Huh?

I am still defintly near the bottom of the learning curve on OTA HDTV - tried clearing and re-scanning all channels from my Hughes HIRD E-86 and suddenly I have a channel 8-1? This appears to be identical in programing content to 10-1 - so what's the deal?

I believe 8-1 is channel 10-1 before the receiver moves it to the 10-1 slot so we in snow covered milwaukee don't get confused.  : )  See this post, Gregg explained it to me here
