No HD on Third Watch 1/21

NBC just sent word -- Third Watch will NOT be in HD tonight.

They gave no reason.

Sean, any word why Law and Order CI wasn't in hd on saturday?  I hope it wasn't the station problem I noticed you (wtmj/Nbc) with this problem a couple of times over the last week or so.

The blizzard in New York caused problems with uplinking.  NBC switched the SD network to the Burbank uplink, but there is no backup HD uplink in Burbank.

So the choice was SD or nothing.

By the way - NBC didn't tell us about the problem until after the HD feed was gone.
