Fox 6 Question

I've stayed away from Fox 6 -- channel 33 -- for some time because the signal at my location is too weak to bother with.

But, for the heck of it, I tried to measure signal strength on all my OTA channels.  They mostly came in at solid numbers (70 to 90) on both receivers on my Tivo, but Ch. 33 was a "no-show".  I mean zero.  I tried it a few times, morning and night, with no result.

Are they off the air, or am I missing something?

Thanks

they're still on .. low power still but on.. you may need to do a re-scan they changes PIDS over the last couple of days.  Sammy's are pretty bad at recognizing the changes..

A-Ha!  Hay hikerak, we were just talking about this on your thread Not able to get 12-1.  Thanks for the confirmation GBK.   But, although I shared hikerak's problem with 12-1 requiring a rescan, my Sammy receiver is receiving 6-1 fine from my location and I have not needed a rescan.

Well, I can reply to my own question.  Channel 33 (a.k.a. Fox 6-1) returned last night to its inglorious and weak signal.  While every other station in the Estabrook antenna "farm" comes in at 90+ -- solid -- 33 is still a wavering 40.  And, the pixelation (or is it pixelization ?) is as bad as ever.

None of that is going to go away until the power goes up, as I'm very happy with my OTA antenna overall.  (It's a Winegard SS-2000.)
