I am looking for the best antenna in west wauwatosa to pick up fox, and cbs. I would be greatfull if someone could give me some tips on finding the best indoor antenna so I could watch the Packers in HD.

Thank You!

I live in west Tosa (close to Hwy 100 & Bluemound), and I currently use the Silver Sensor antenna for picking up 6-1 and 1-1. If you have an east facing window to aim you antenna, you're in luck. Otherwise, this set up won't work.  I also recommend a small gain boost to the signal, and the use of quad shielded cable. The improvement in signal strength is the difference between getting 6-1 and not getting it.

Good luck!

I have a rooftop antenna and cannot receive 6-1 at this time.
I had a marginal signal in the spring of 2004, but nothing now.
Located near 124th and Watertown Plank Road.

CBS on 1-1 has always had a great signal.

Another vote for the Silver Sensor.

I have the Samsung Amplified Antenna TV5.2 SAX and it sucks. I cant pick up anything. I live 121st and bluemound.

Do you have a clear view to the east? If you are interested in trying the silver sensor, PM me. My schedule is busy, but you can at least see what may/may not work.

I do have a Radio Shack double bow tie that's collecting dust.

I am on 70th and North and use the RSDBT just facing ENE (no window) I get a pretty strong signal on all (6-1 excluded).  I have to play with it a little to get 6-1 but I have noticed on Sundays it seems to come in better than on other days... Probably psychological.

I am going to post a followup question on hardware as well so as not to hijack this thread...
