D* has NFL Channel in HD (sometimes)

I was channel surfing last night and noticed on the NFL channel 212 that the Game of the Week was in HD. Making it even better, the game of the week was the Packers-Vikings from Christmas Eve! Can you believe the Vikings owner gave Tice one more year?

How does NFL films turn out an hour long special in just days? For HD, the picture wasn't very good, stretched and grainy but still better than SD. It would seem that it wasn't filmed in HD just upconverted but the original broadcast was much better. Wht wouldn't NFL Films turn out a better image?

As far as I know, 212 is never in HD. But 98 shows the GotW in HD which was great.

That's why I was surprised to see 212 in HD. It defintely was - even the onscreen menu listed HD after the title. Is channel 98 part of the Sunday Ticket?

The owner wanted to sell the team, so it wouldn't matter whom the coach is. He's looking as far as the next good offer for the team
