Dishnetwork HDTV and OTA Guide

Does anyone know why my Dishnetwork HDTV OTA receivers do not show any programming information?  I had a 6000 and currently have a 811 and both show "Local digital programming" only in the guide and banner.  
Do the local networks broadcast programming info and my receivers just can't decipher the info?
It would be nice to know what's on without grabbing the Newspaper.
