Anyone have this unit, Samsung sir-ts360, I had the Walmart OTA tuner and worked well but decided to get dir sat. Well now I don't get half the digital channels the Walmart tuner received. Also is their any way to manually add ota channels to the channel guide?  HELP

I had that unit for about a week but exchanged it because I was having audio sync issues with ESPN HD. The OTA tuner worked just fine for me. Try looking at p.46 of the manual. Menu, Setup, Antenna and Cable, Add\Remove channels. I hope this helps.

I also have this reciever and have noticed sync issues watching ESPNHD.  Jimbob, did you call D* about this, or did you just go buy a new reciever?  What reciever are you currently using?

I called DirecTV and they replaced the receiver. I currently have the LG LSS-3200A.

Thanks for the help. Scanning for channels doesn't work to well since only half come in, but putting in another zip code added more.  It'll do....

Yes, sync issues are no longer.

I just called D* and told them about the sync issue.  She transfered me to a level 2 HD rep and he said he would send out a new reciever.  He said it would either be a Hughes, LG, or Samsung.  The Samsung is supposed to have different software installed at this time, so hopefully all the sync issues will be gone.
