I wonder if anyone else has this problem.  I have 2 HD boxes that get the guide information from Directv.  I have a Sony SAT-HD200 and a Sony SAT-HD300 (I think they are actually LG boxes rebranded).  Anyhow the problem is with the 200, I only get information for the Directv channels (including the locals), but no info for all the digital channels.  The box used to show 58-1 ect in addition to 1-1 ect but now the 58-1 is missing and all the guide information for the local OTA channels both analog and digital is missing from the SAT-HD200 box, the 300 box is showing everything.....

Pretty strange and the 200 box is my main box (the 300 is the bedroom) and I usually rely on the guide for my programming and now I can't schedule programs like I used to.

??????

Have you tried unplugging the box for about 5 minutes then plugging it back in?  That's happened to us before.

No pleasure on that, unplugged the unit and came back 1/2 hour later, it rebuilt the guide and local channels but not the programming for local ota's.

In case you haven't solved this yet...

I had this problem with my Zenith 520, which I think is equiv. to your Sony HD200.  There was a firmware upgrade that wiped out the local digital channel info.  Go into the setup area (the one where you enter your zip code and if finds your local channels) and re-enter your zip.  After that you should be fine.

There are some threads on this at AVSForum.

There's another that explains it in more detail, but I can't find it right now.
