Not sure if it's my set or not but it looks like 46 is off the air tonight.  28 comes in fine as does 8. When I rescanned, 1-0, 1-1, and 1-2 disappeared. Anyone else notice this or is it time to call warranty repair.

How odd...

I'm getting a signal strength of 72, but my DTC-100 is saying there's a weak signal...

No picture or sound..

Same thing here...  Signal of 82 - best I've had in days, but no picture no sound - only weak signal.

At least I'm glad I'm not the only one.  Must be something on their end!?

I noticed the same thing last night...signal of 79 but no decoding.  I figure they had a problem with the data-stream and even though our receivers see a signal the data was corrupt and the receivers are unable to decode it.

And as of this morning there is still nothing on 46. Must be having transmitter problems. If Jim Hall is viewing today, how about an update.

Yes, we had a PSIP data error computer crash last night.  For some with sets always on, we were fine, but for the majority of you that turn your sets on and off, you had  carrier, but without the correct PSIP data stream, DTV sets are unable to tune properly.

Repairs are being made.

Sincerely,
Jim Hall

I for one would like to thank and commend Jim and Sean -- alphabetical order, don't go reading no favorites into this :-)  for their CONTINUED participation, insight, and honesty with respect to the Milwaukee HDTV market.  Tom Weeden (NBC affiliate in Madison) gets runner up kudos-- we're really not in his market, but has chimed in a time or two anyway.

I can appreciate the fact that you're at competing stations, but the two of you are setting the examples of behavior in this forum, putting (some) differences aside, and (mostly) staying out of each others throats.

Very well said and I totally agree. They both go above and beyond the call of duty. Their participation is certainly a great boost for this group and forum.
