Is it just me or is the audio for the game muffled and distant.. the commentators sound good. but the 5.1 (surround channels) audio doesn't exist.

Here too. The audio is awful.

My Packer-Redskin game audio was inconsistant

on the GBay FOX WLUK-HD OTA feed....

3/4 time it was DD 5.1 per Onkyo AV SR-501 text...

1/8 the time it was a form of sterio/PLII.....

and 1/8 the time the sound was 'zip'/mute' or resetting.....

The times I checked the OTA T-151 FOX-HD signal strength

   was 9 of 9......

I did do a lot of flipping with the NASCAR race

on GBay NBC OTA HD feed....   That live race

program was DD 5.1 had solid audio on both GBay

NBC-HD OTA and GBay NBC-HD Time Warner Cable.....

After #17 MK blew the motor... I watched the NASCAR

event less frequently..... and feared a Packer give-a-way...

It's challanging to keep up on two HD programs at once...

I think Fox is doing something wrong.  I can't quite put my finger on exactly what it is though.  It was odd hearing some of their canned sound effects through the rear channels.  Usually those types of sounds are Left and Right front channel.  I noticed during the last game they could switch the "muffle" effect on and off.  Maybe they are still gaining experience?  I thought the sound was much better when the HD first started for the network.
