Enterprise HD?

Will Enterprise be HD tomorrow night on 24-1 (or is it -2)?

no. UPN24 has the equipment ordered and is hoping to have it received and installed by the end of the year. until then Enterprise will be SD in Milwaukee.

The good news is that the equipment is identical to what is installed at WB18 so once installed it should be relatively trouble free.

There is more than Enterprise on UPN in HD, now, so it is more important to get the HD going for this Sinclair channel.

Just one more thing for me rant about, I know (not getting on cable in HD, that is!)

How did it look?  I think Gregg posted an article that this new season would be shot in 24p video.  Then of course there are no concerns about telecine quality.

I watched the first 5 mins of StarTrek in HD

from GBay on WACY-HD Dig chan 59 at 10 PM last night...

It was the first UPN HD program that I've seen that

was pure HD.... on Chan 59 since it went HD Sept 10th..

 The picture and 'graphics' of P-51s and an iron

 encased world were terrific in detail & texture....

 I'd like to see this initial HD Program rerun at

 a better 'earlier' time....   UPN now offers HD!!

I wanted to see it on my friend's HD set last night, but my visits are becoming too-frequent for the WB 18  HD shows, so since he sits next to the Illinois border, closer than me, with a good shot of the Chicago, stations, he gets good OTA...
TitanTV says they broadcast in HD on WPWR50.
What I think he said he will do is get a HD Tivo as an early holiday present so the watching can get clumped together....

Come on TWC, cough up the dough for Sinclair and get us our Channel 518
and 524 (when HD comes out, or at least the digital part)!
You cannot believe how awful WB and UPN come in on a big screen in analogue-UGH!:eek:

Another advantage of watching WGN-TV in HD is that they also broadcast the Chicago Cubs games in HD.

Well, WGN-HD doesn't ransom their cable companies in the area for HD channel offerings...nice HD station. too.

By the way, he got an order in on his HD Tivo and plans to record asap...to use with his 70" Sony Wega with a 7.1 surround setup...:cool: (I helped him install, hence why I can come over more)

I am bringing the beer and hoping for Enterprise HD!;)
