A Phoenix resident who allegedly sold piracy software online was recently sentenced to four months in jail and three years probation by a Maricopa County Superior Court judge, DirecTV said.

Jack Anthony Nocera pled guilty in July to unlawful possession of an access device and facilitation of computer tampering. Both are felonies under Arizona state law.

Nocera was arrested in June 2003 following a joint investigation between DirecTV and the Maricopa County Sheriff's office.
